Named after the town where it is located, Lynnville Park is a popular destination for fishermen and campers alike. It was originally a 1,100-acre reclaimed strip mine ground deeded by Peabody Coal Company in 1964 for recreational purposes to the Town of Lynnville. This RV campground is accessible from Interstate-64 at Exit 39. The largest nearby city is Evansville, which is around 15 miles from the downtown Lynnville. Guests of this RV campground can visit various notable attractions of the area including the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, Angel Mounds State Historic Site, Children’s Museum of Evansville, Ben Hawes State Park, George Rogers Clark National Historical Park, and Evansville Museum of Arts, History and Science. There are several golf courses close to this RV campground such as Hamilton’s Golf Course, Quail Crossing Golf Club, and Eagle Valley Golf Course.

Lynnville Park offers around 54 RV camping sites including 30 sites with electric hookups and 24 full-hookup RV camping sites. The full-hookup RV camping sites come with 30/ 50 amp electric service, water and sewerage. This RV camping also features a 275-acre lake, which is stocked with largemouth bass, catfish, crappie, and bluegill. The Wahnsiedler Observatory of Lynnville Park is home to the Evansville Astronomical Society. The observatory features two telescopes allowing the guests of this RV campground spend a night gazing at the stars.
