We just bought our first fifth wheel. We plan to snowbird in Florida next winter for 3 months. Ideally, we would like to stay on the Gulf side somewhere between Clearwater and Sarasota or thereabouts. Searching on the internet has been very frustrating. Does anyone have suggestions for a nice rv park? Any help would be appreciated..........

We had a Fifth Wheel for several years, now have a house & a 22 Foot FunFinder we use every month or so to get away to different places in Florida.
We found that the area you are looking at to be expensive, very busy & few real nice parks so we tried the south central part in the Sebring area. Liked it enough that we bought a house here in Tanglewood. There are lots to do here with lakes for fishing & if you want to go to either coast it is equal distant.
You might want to check it out, we did & liked it.

Sure, we spent some time at Frog Creek. We really liked the creek and dog park for our Jack Russells. Check out frogcreek.com for pics and details

We like Nature Coast Landing north of Clearwater near Crystal River.
I own a RV couple lots there if you want to rent there from us, to try it out.
We like it because it is near the Ocean, and in a quieter area.
